Doug Matthews, the owner and General Manager of Matthews Construction & Renovation, holds licenses in Louisiana in both Commercial and Residential Constrution. Doug has 40 years experience in new construction, renovation, and historic restoration. Our management team has, combined, more than 180 years of experience of construction in New Orleans.

We provide a complete range of services for your project, from estimating to project closeout. We have worked with many local architects and engineers and can assist you with all your needs from budgeting and value engineering to finely constructed finished project.
RENOVATION
Looking to renovate your home, office or commercial space? Consider giving us a call. We can work with architects, designers and/or engineers, or, depending on your particular project, can provide a complete package of services from design to completion.
MILLWORK AND CABINETRY
Our carpenters and millwrights are among the best in the business, especially as concerns New Orleans-style millwork and details. Now with our own in-house mill shop we can match those antique moldings on your historic house, or build you an ultra-modern kitchen or entertainment center.
